FPV RC Helicopter


This project is a work in progress.

I just recently purchased a Walkera V450D01 electric helicopter and want to put in a first person view camera controlled by a head tracking gyro (much like the video above). The video feed will be live and would basically make me feel like I'm in the helicopter. The helicopter's currently being repaired from a recent crash but once that's done, I'll be purchasing a pan/tilt servo and researching the best value head tracking video goggles available. Check back in the future for more updates but in the meantime, here's a crazy electric helicopter video for your enjoyment.
